An official statement from SM Entertainment regarding Taeyeon’s cancellation of the “Kamp LA 2022” event has been released.
On the Girls’ Generation member’s official Instagram on October 15, the label wrote: “We collaborated in advance and provided all the essential documentation required in the process because the organizer was in responsible of approving visas relevant to the performances. We later learned, however, that Taeyeon’s performance visa was ultimately denied.”
As was previously mentioned, visa complications prevented Taeyeon, EXO’s Kai, BamBam, Zion.T, Jeon So Mi, and Lapillus from performing at the K-Pop weekend concert.
