According to reports, Lee Jung Jae received $700,000 USD every episode for season 2 of “Squid Game.”

The expected remuneration for actor Lee Jung Jae for each episode of Netflix’s “Squid Game” season 2 is 1 billion KRW (about $700,000 USD), according to media reports on October 11.

According to Inders, Squid Game Game’s second season should start filming sometime in 2019. Director Hwang Dong Hyuk is rumored to have earned a sizable incentive payment for season 2, while actor Lee Jung Jae has committed to the project with a guaranteed pay of 1 billion KRW each episode.

The estimated cost of season 2 of “Squid Game,” excluding the salaries of key actors Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun, is 100 billion KRW (about $70 million USD).

In the meanwhile, Siren Pictures and Netflix Korea are the producers of “Squid Game.”
