BLACKPINK’s Lisa, who reportedly paid over 7.5 billion KRW (about $6 million USD) for the opulent urban mansion in Seongbuk-dong, according to claims from business media outlets on February 1.
The house is well-known for having been the former residence of Jang Seon Yoon, the granddaughter of Lotte Corporation founder Shin Kyuk Ho. It is over 7,200 square feet in size and has one above-ground story and two underground stories. The land on which the home is situated was bought by Jang Seon Yoon in 2014, and the opulent villa was finished in April of 2016. The house was occupied by Jang’s family for about seven years.
Prior to the contract’s last full payment on January 30, 2023, Lisa first made a contract for this villa in July of 2022.
In the meantime, Seongbuk-dong has traditionally served as a symbol of South Korea’s richest and most influential citizens. A number of famous people, like Bae Yong Joon, Lee Seung Gi, and others, currently reside in Seongbuk-dong.
