On October 3rd, one Mexican news source reported that “BTS fans may receive exciting information within the next few hours. Multiple reports claim that the K-pop group [BTS] will take the stage at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, in front of an audience of 60,000.”
Moreover, the media outlet included, “The “FIFA World Cup” is the most important event in soccer, and BTS is the biggest boy band in the world. Once it gets going, it will be something that stops the world in its tracks.”
Meanwhile, on Sunday, November 20 at Al Bayt Stadium in Qatar, the opening ceremony of the “FIFA World Cup 2022TM” will take place, coinciding with the opening game of the tournament, which will be played between Qatar and Ecuador.
