NewJeans ‘Ditto’ Plagiarized Japanese Song, Knetz Disagree

A post on the internet went viral on March 21. The article, “NewJeans – “Ditto” Plagiarized A Japanese Song,” received a lot of views right away.
The creator of the essay claims that the successful song “Ditto” by NewJeans plagiarized the theme song for the anime Trouble Chocolate.
The author then published links to “Ditto” and “C.H.O.C.O.”
The music “C.H.O.C.O” features house drums and is synth-based. Many online users who listened to the music felt there wasn’t even close enough similarity to support plagiarism claims.

Knetizens Reactions:

1. Can you explain where they are the same
2. Are you kidding me? Ditto is a song that is heavily influenced by Jersey Club, but if you don’t know anything yet.. go learn it

3. What is the melody? Are you jealous of K-pop? Which Japanese song did NewJeans plagiarize? They don’t sound the same at all

4. These two songs don’t overlap at all

5. I’m a fan of the other group, but I’m surprised that they aren’t even similar at all

6. I’m a fan of another group, but I don’t know where they sound similar? OP is stupid
