With their most recent release, the international boy band Stray Kids set yet another record-breaking number of album sales!
On October 7 KST, Stray Kids released their eagerly awaited album ‘MAXIDENT,’ which has the single “Case 143” as its lead single. According to information provided by the Hanteo chart, the album has sold more than 2 million copies in less than a week after it was first released, five days after that.
“MAXIDENT” has now surpassed “ODDINARY” as the band’s best-selling album in first-week sales, selling more than 850,000 million copies on Hanteo and demonstrating a significant increase in sales.

Additionally, the group’s previous album record-holder, “ODDINARY,” which sold roughly 496,000 copies on the first day, was tripled by the sales of “MAXIDENT,” which sold a staggering 1.3 million copies on its first day of release.
As a result, Stray Kids has now sold two million copies. Stray Kids are now the third act in Hanteo’s history to reach the 2 million milestone within the first week of release, joining BTS and Seventeen as the other two acts to do so.
The boys just won their first music competition trophy for “Case 143” on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown.
Best wishes to Stray Kids!
