Surprise vinyl record pre-orders for TWICE Nayeon sell out in a matter of minutes.

On October 12, the blockbuster summer solo album “IM NAYEON” by TWICE member Nayeon was abruptly revealed to be published as a vinyl record on November 18.

Fans were pleasantly surprised because despite TWICE’s extensive discography, no vinyl LP albums have yet to be released. Pre-orders opened right away on the websites of the US-based TWICE Shop and Target’s exclusive US stores.
Included are “a Stunning Gatefold Jacket, Printed Inner Sleeve, and Exclusive Folded Poster,” according to the TWICE Shop.

The limited edition pink vinyl Target version was sold out and all pre-orders had been filled within 15 minutes of the tweet’s publication. The allotted amount of black vinyl from the TWICE Shop was finished in 30 minutes.

Target only ships to the US, but fans throughout the world are anxiously awaiting word on the fate of their pre-orders from the TWICE Shop that arrived in time. Due to the US-focused JYPE collaborative record deal with Universal Music Group, this recently occurred with autographed copies of the Between 1&2 album that were resold solely to US fans.

Because TWICE on vinyl sold out so quickly, fans are already inquiring when more TWICE albums will be released in the format, whether they will release the current discography, and whether fans from other countries will be able to purchase.
