A time-defying young love story movie makes a comeback after 22 years!
The Seo Eun Young-directed film “Similar,” which also stars Yeo Jin Goo, Jo Yi Hyun, Kim Hye Yoon, Na In Woo, and Bae In Hyuk, follows the tale of two people who are brought together by a set of handheld radios.
Yong (Yeo Jin Goo) and Muni (Jo Yi Hyun) introduce themselves at the start of the teaser clip above using their handheld radios. Yong and Muni learn that they are from different eras after having multiple back-and-forth conversations: Yong is from 1999, while Muni is from 2022.
Then, Yong starts talking to Muni about Hansol, a campus lady he has a crush on (Kim Hye Yoon). In contrast, Muni is struggling with her own romantic problems in 2022 involving a close friend named Youngji (Na In Woo).
Interested in knowing what will happen to these freshmen college students in 1999 and 2022? On November 16, “Similar” has its South Korean theatrical debut!
