Yoo Jae-suk, a comedian who has been performing for 32 years, made the significant choice to “refuse presents and support from admirers.” His organization gave this choice.
On October 6, Yoo Jae-agency suk’s Antenna published a notice on their official Instagram. “We would like to appeal for your understanding and would like to offer our gratitude to everyone who has always supported Yoo Jae-initiatives,” suk’s Antenna added.
“We are forever grateful for the letters and presents you have sent Yoo Jae-suk, as well as the sincere time and effort to prepare them,” they admitted. Please send just letters with your true sentiments, not presents or support; only encouraging remarks are sufficient.
They continued, “We appeal for your understanding with an open heart, as the choice was made in consideration of many situations.
Below the post, some admirers voiced their unease with the announcement, stating it came out of nowhere. “Why does the agency prohibit communication between fans and Yoo Jae-suk and post an unexpected notice only now,” they demanded in a furious tone.
However, several online users argued that it was unjustified to be upset by Antenna’s announcement, asking, “Isn’t it customary for celebrities to accept gifts or letters from admirers and authenticate them?”
